Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin’s film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is continuously making a splash at the box office and is going to earn Rs 600 crore worldwide. In India, the film has earned Rs 343 crore in just five days. According to initial trends, the Telugu and Hindi versions are earning well compared to other languages. This science-fiction film has been continuously breaking records since its release in theaters on June 27.

The film’s production house Vaijayanti Movies has announced that ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has grossed Rs 555 crore in four days. On its fifth day at the box office, the film earned another Rs 35 crore in India. If overseas collections are added, the film is expected to cross Rs 600 crore worldwide today i.e. July 2.

The total five-day collection of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is now Rs 343.6 crore in India. The state-wise details show that the audience is loving both the Telugu and Hindi versions.

On Monday, July 1, the Telugu version earned Rs 182 crore while the Hindi version earned Rs 128 crore. The Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions earned Rs 20.3 crore, Rs 11.2 crore and Rs 2.1 crore, respectively.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ recorded an occupancy of 47.18 per cent (Telugu version) in India on July 1, with the evening and night shows garnering the maximum viewership. It remains to be seen how the film fares on weekdays.

Not just India, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is doing well in Russia too.

Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ is a sci-fi adventure film mixed with Indian mythology. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are in the lead roles, while Shobana, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben, Disha Patani and Brahmanandam are in supporting roles.

As per reports, Vyjayanthi Movies financed the venture on a mammoth budget of Rs 600 crore.
