After earning Rs 191.5 crore on the first day, Nag Ashwin’s science-fiction futuristic film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is on a steady rise. After a strong performance at the box office on the second day, the film earned Rs 67.10 crore on the third day in India, according to early estimates. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned Rs 57.60 crore in India and Rs 298 crore globally on its second day. Early estimates for the third day suggest that the film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in India. Saconilc As per reports, the film earned Rs 67.10 crore on its first Saturday, taking its three-day collection to Rs 220 crore. The worldwide figures of the film are yet to be revealed.

The Telugu version of the film got 74.24 percent occupancy in India on Saturday, June 29. The film is expected to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in its first weekend.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is said to be India’s most expensive film, which has been made by Vyjayanthi Movies on a budget of Rs 600 crore. The music is given by Santosh Narayanan, cinematography is done by Djordje Stojiljkovic and editing is done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

SS Rajamouli, Vijay Deverakonda, Ram Gopal Varma, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur have done cameos in the project.
