Must read

Kalki 2898 AD held very well on its second day, earning around Rs 64 crore at the Indian box office. The film’s total earnings in two days is Rs 165 crore. It is headed towards earning around Rs 325 crore in four days.

Internationally, the Prabhas starrer has crossed the $10 million mark, earning $2.90 million (Rs 24 crore) as of Friday, taking its total earnings to $10.20 million (Rs 85 crore) as of Friday. This takes its worldwide collection to Rs 250 crore and it is on track to gross Rs 450 crore in its opening weekend.

Below is the box office collection of Kalki 2898 AD at the Indian box office:

Day Total
Thursday Rs. 101.00 Crore.
Friday Rs. 64.00 Crore.
Total Rs. 165.00 Crore.

Kalki did its best in North India, where the Hindi dubbed version was flat from day one. Being a mid-week release on Thursday, even if it dropped by 10-15 percent it would have been fine but it managed to match the first day figures, which shows the acceptance of the film. The collections in North India will see a big jump today and further growth on Sunday, culminating in a very strong weekend of over Rs 100 crore for the Hindi dubbed version.

In South India, Telugu states witnessed a drop of almost 50 per cent, while Andhra Pradesh witnessed a drop even more than Telangana. The situation in Kerala remained strong for the second day. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also saw good conditions.
