‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’: Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna, Allu Arjun praise the film
Vijay Deverakonda, who played Arjun in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, praised the film after watching it. Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun also shared their opinions about Nag Ashwin’s film.
After Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna and other celebs praised Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’, Vijay Deverakonda (who played Arjun in the film) said he was ‘overwhelmed’ after watching it. Later, Rashmika Mandanna watched the film and called it ‘incredible’. Allu Arjun wrote a long note on Instagram, praising the director, star cast and team.
Vijay Deverakonda’s cameo as Mahabharata’s Arjuna in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was a hit among fans. Trending on X after the film’s release, the actor watched the film and shared his thoughts on social media.
His first post wishing them success read, “Naagi Prabhas Anna @VyjayanthiFilms I am so happy for you all, you deserve all the love, success and strength. Celebrating for you and God bless you Respect to @SrBachchan Sir, @deepikapadukone and @ikamalhaasan Sir, #Kalki wouldn’t have been the same without you. #Kalki2898AD will be remembered long after we are all gone @nagashwin7 (sic).”
Vijay then watched the film and wrote, “Just watched the film. Don’t know what to say. Overwhelmed. Indian cinema has reached new heights. What a sight this was! I hope it makes 1000 crores and more. #Kalki2898AD.”
Later, Rashmika Mandanna watched ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and wrote, “Oh my freaking God! @nagshavin7 you are a beautiful genius! Unbelievable!! Congratulations Kalki this movie deserves all the love and more. Seeing our mythological gods come alive on our screens is my favourite part 😂😂!! What a movie!!!!”
Allu Arjun wrote a long note praising ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He shared his thoughts on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations to the team of #Kalki2898AD. Great visuals. Respect to my dear friend Prabhas garu for making this epic film powerful. Entertaining superhero presence. Amitabh Bachchan ji, you are truly inspiring, no words for that. Praising our Kamal Haasan sir, hoping for more in the next.”
The ‘Pushpa 2’ actor further added, “Dear Deepika Padukone, you are effortlessly stunning. Disha Patani has a captivating presence. Congratulations to the entire cast and technical crew, especially the cinematography, art, costumes, editing and make-up. Kudos to Vyjayanthi Movies and Ashwini Dutt garu, Swapna Dutt, Priyanka Dutt for taking risks and raising the bar of Indian cinema.”
Praising filmmaker Nag Ashwin, Arjun said, “And Captain Nag Ashwin has left every single movie lover in awe. Applause to a path-breaking filmmaker of our generation. Finally, a film from India with our cultural sensibilities that matches the standard of global visual spectacle (sic).”
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a science-fiction dystopian film based on Hindu mythology. Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, the film features SS Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in cameo roles.
