The sci-fi epic film Kalki 2898 A.D. starring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan directed by Nag Ashwin is finally hitting the theatres from June 27, 2024. The much-awaited film has generally managed to impress people and the makers have even announced its sequel.
The film, which is a part of the Kalki Cinematic Universe, is all set for its second part in which the Rebel Star and Big B will be seen fighting against Supreme Yaskin, played by Kamal Haasan.

Kalki, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, is a sci-fi epic based on Hindu scriptures set in 2898 A.D. The film is set in a dystopian future and begins 6000 years after the Kurukshetra war in the Mahabharata.
In the future, Kashi will become the last city in the world, ruled by a totalitarian government led by a self-proclaimed God named Supreme Yaskin. In the new world, the common people are struggling to make a living, but a new ray of hope shines for them in the form of Kalki, the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who is set to bring an end to Kali Yuga.
Apart from the lead actors, the film also stars several other actors like Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, Shobana, Sashwat Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, Pashupati, Anna Ben, Malavika Nair in pivotal roles.
