In the lead, the Rajinikanth starrer cool has been slated to release on 14 August 2025. Making his way on the Big Screen in front of the direction of Lokesh Kanagarj, the producers have announced the first single for the film.
On 25 June 2025, starring Rajinikanth, will unveil his first single named Chiktiu.
Sharing the update, the manufacturers said, “Time to #Getchitufied. #Chikitu music video on 25 June at 6 pm.
Anirudh Ravichender Cool to be chicated with first single
The cool first single, called Chikitu, is composed by Anirudh Ravichender himself, who chronic it with Travendran. The Tamil-Bhasha Street Style Song will be choreographed by actor-choreographer Sandy Master.
The music video was unveiled on 25 June, in an early post, Rajinikanth’s supporter head, Riyaz’s Ahmed underlined that both 24 and 25 June would be updated cool.
The upcoming film Kuli, which features Rajinikanth in the lead role, is described as an action entertainer by director Lokesh Kanagaraja. Flick is expected to introduce the superstar in a negative role with actors Nagarjuna Akini and Upendra Rao.
Apart from him, Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan will make a cameo appearance with artists like Saubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj and will be part of the artists’ contingent.
Interestingly, Pooja Hegde is making an appearance in the film for a special dance number.
Unlike most of the films of director Lokesh Kanagaraj, the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer is called outside his cinematic universe, LCU. As Flick is hitting a big screen for the Indian Independence Week, it will be a confrontation with Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer War 2.
Coming to Rajinikanth’s work front, the superstar is currently involved in filming for Jailor 2, the superstar, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is set to work as the sequel to the 2023 jailer, in which stars such as Mohanlal and Shiv Rajkumar are expected to resume their old roles.
Additionally, reports suggest that veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna will also appear in an extended cameo.
