Bollywood actor Kajol is known for her honesty, and in a hearty conversation, she opened up parenting teenagers’ challenges. Today, in a special chat with India, the MAA actor opened about his children and how proud to see them developing into independent persons.
Asked what no one prepares for you
How the communication changes due to the growing children, Kajol said, “We were told – let us talk, try to work, try to work and increase your relationship. Make a effort.
He felt disconnected several times, but explained that, for children, it is a different way of joining. “So yes, I think it’s silence. This is the fact that you feel somewhere you are going to feel a bit disconnected, but this is not a disconnect for them. They just want you to enter their world, or see what they have hobbies, or at least try to be a part of their world.”
Kajol also said how proud of her children’s independent thinking. “Yes, they have their own mind. Sometimes our opinion varies at a wonderful decibels level – four houses next to us can hear our disagreement on special subjects.”
He continued, “But I am very proud of the fact that my children think for themselves, if their thinking is different from me. I think I have done something huge by teaching them to think differently. Whether we are discussing world politics, whether we are discussing the atmosphere or we are discussing people for people around us – we are talking about all of them because we are talking about all of them because we are talking about all of them because we are talking about all of them because we are talking about all of them because We are in all those cases. I would call them a little more experienced.
He said, “Sometimes I think we didn’t think so in 14 and 15? But sometimes you do it at 19-20, you thought in this way, a sure, I will not call it innocence, because it is idealism. It is an idealism for this that is really surprising to see.”
Kajol-starrer ‘Ma’ is set to release in theaters on 27 June.
