K-pop girl group XG released their latest song ‘Something Ain’t Right’ along with a music video on their YouTube channel on Friday, July 26.
‘Something Ain’t Right’ is the first pre-release track from their upcoming second mini-album, which will be released on November 8.
The song has a retro vibe based on garage rhythms, showcasing the unique personalities of each of the seven XG members. With an addictive chorus and various sounds intricately woven into its minimalist style, this track promises to be a standout hit.
Produced by XGALX’s representative and usual producer, JAKOPS (Simon Junho Park), ‘Something Ain’t Right’ blends fast-paced, 90s-inspired music with XG’s original sound, creating music that makes everyone want to dance.
The second mini-album is set to be released on November 8, coming almost a year after the previous release. The album aims to evoke a feeling of “awe” as it blends curiosity and fear, reflecting the psychological process people go through when they encounter something new.
It promises to offer a unique experience of integrating XG’s music into everyday life.
Currently, XG is on its first world tour, ‘XG 1st WORLD TOUR ‘The First Haul’, performing in nearly 30 countries and regions around the world, including Asia, North America, the UK, and Europe. Recently, additional performances in Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka were announced for 2025.
