BLACKPINK member Jennie is set to make a comeback with her new single, Mantra. The release date has been announced for October 11th, and Jennie has revealed what fans can expect from the single, which already promises to be a hit.
In teasers shared throughout the week, Jennie appears in the background with a text overlay echoing the solo theme. The phrases “Pretty girls inspire,” “Pretty girls practice self-love,” and “Pretty girls don’t pretend!” Flash on screen.

This will be Jennie’s first solo release under OA Entertainment. Previously, he collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on One of the Girls, an original soundtrack for the HBO series The Idol. Jennie has also partnered with Columbia Records under Sony Music Entertainment to promote her solo efforts.
Jennie made her solo debut with the single You and Me, which peaked at number 2 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. Meanwhile, fellow BLACKPINK member Lisa has released two singles in a row and is preparing for her next single release, Moonlight Floor.
While the members pursue solo activities, YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK will make a comeback with an album next year after BORN PINK.
