Beetlejuice Ahead of the big release of Beetlejuice, Jenna Ortega and Catherine O’Hara opted for method dressing to promote their latest release. The actresses’ dressing style impressed not only the audience but also Justin Theroux, who played Rory in the movie.
While speaking with People magazine at Ralph Lauren Fashion Week, the actor revealed that he’s a fan of O’Hara and Ortega’s choice of outfits.
One of the iconic costumes worn by the Wednesday actress was a recreation of Winona Ryder’s red dress from the 1988 film’s promotion. As for O’Hara, her black and white striped jumpsuit perfectly matched the theme of the film.
Speaking to the entertainment portal, Theroux said, “We did the red carpet right.” He further added, “Jenna Ortega did it In fact Well. I mean, if you really look at the brevity of her look… and Catherine O’Hara’s one of the craziest, most epic fashion swings anybody has ever taken. Fabulous.”
Despite playing a key role in the film, the American Psycho actor didn’t put much effort into dressing up and costuming for the premiere.
“I mean, it’s really fair to say that I haven’t changed my outfit since I was 14,” the actor revealed. “At that point, I was very much an emo, punk, or whatever you want to call it.”

Talking about his character in the sequel to the 1988 film, Rory was a close friend of the Deetz family. He was involved in all the chaos caused by the Deetz family in the film. Giving more details about his character, the actor said, “I thought I was an emo kid, and I think everyone related to the character of Winona or wanted to date her.”
He said, “I have a very soft spot in my heart for Beetlejuice, and it’s one of those miraculous moments in life where you feel, ‘Somebody’s handed me the key to the front door of that movie, and I’ve walked into that world.'”
Meanwhile, Beetlejuice is doing well at the box office as Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton return to their iconic roles. The film was released on September 6 and is running successfully in theaters.
