For those who don’t know, Empire State of Mind rapper and scene Diddy Combs has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the year 2000.
Following the allegations, Jay Z—whose real name is Shawn Carter—has denied everything he has been accused of. The ruling continued to read that Jay Z’s legal team was continuously filing “aggressive motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks that are inappropriate.”
Stating that his actions were “a waste of judicial resources, and unlikely to benefit his client”, the judge also noted that the court would not “fast-track” its proceedings merely on the lawyer’s demand.
The lawsuit was originally filed by Jane Doe in October against Combs for allegedly raping her at a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. However, on December 8, the complaint was amended to include Jay Z in the alleged incident.
