Telugu actor Jr NTR visited NTR Ghat on Saturday to offer prayers on the 29th death anniversary of his late grandfather. Many videos and photos of his visit have surfaced online.

RRR actor Jr NTR and his step-brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram on Saturday paid tribute to their late grandfather, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and renowned actor, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, on his 29th death anniversary. The brothers visited NTR Ghat on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad and offered flowers at their grandfather’s memorial. NT Rama Rao died on 18 January 1996.

A video of the Devara actor at the memorial shows him along with his brother Kalyan Ram paying respects to their late grandfather. Dressed in black, he offered floral tributes at the memorial of NT Rama Rao. The video also shows him entering the memorial amid tight security.

Other family members, including NT Rama Rao’s son, actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna, also paid tribute to the late legendary actor, who acted in nearly 300 films.

In May 2024, Jr. NTR also visited his late grandfather’s memorial, NTR Ghat, to commemorate his 101st birth anniversary.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao acted in around 300 films and won three National Awards. After a successful acting career, he entered politics and served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years in three terms.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jr NTR, who was last seen in Devara, is busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham.
