Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham was one of the biggest releases of 2023. In a conversation with Hollywood Reporter India recently, John indicated at the possibility of his character, a prequel centered around the gym. However, he did not confirm whether the sequel to the film is in the work.

During the discussion, John reflected his career and the diverse roles he has done for years. Speaking about Pathan, he shared, “Pathan was really special. Adi (Aditya Chopra) and I have cooperated on washing, Kabul Express, New York and then Pathan. He understands me wellAnd hopefully, we will work on a prequel to discover the gym past before being bitter. This should happen. ,

Under Yash Raj Films, Pathan, produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Siddharth Anand, depicted John as an anti -gym, colliding with Shah Rukh Khan’s lead character.

Earlier, director Siddharth Anand also talked about prequel’s ability. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he said, “It should be, but it is too early to discuss anything. I believe that the character of the gym is entitled to a prequel.”

The film was a large -scale box office success, which earned Rs 634 crore globally within its first seven days. John Abraham was last seen in the Veda and is ready for diplomat, in which he plays the role of real -life Indian diplomat JP Singh. Initially for release on 7 March, the film now matches Holi on 14 March.
