After months of rumours, Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have finally announced a price hike for their prepaid and postpaid plans. The new plans are effective from July 3 for Jio and Airtel and July 4 for Vi. Here is the full list of new plans from Jio, Airtel and Vi.

After months of rumours, Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have finally announced a price hike on their prepaid and postpaid plans. While this may be disappointing news for many budget-conscious users, the good thing is that telcos have given users some time to recharge with old plans before the new plans come into effect. The new plans are effective from July 3 for Jio and Airtel and July 4 for Vi. Here is the full list of new plans from Jio, Airtel and Vi.

Jio’s prepaid/postpaid plan price increased, see full list

There have been many changes in Jio’s one-month prepaid plan. The entry-level plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 155, will now be available for Rs 189. This plan offers unlimited voice calls, 2GB data and SMS benefits for 28 days. The popular Rs 249 plan has been increased to Rs 299 and offers 1GB data per day along with unlimited calls and SMS.

For those with higher data needs, the Rs 399 plan, which replaced the Rs 349 plan, offers 2.5GB of data per day. The Rs 449 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 399, now offers 3GB of data per day for 28 days, making it a suitable option for heavy data users.

Changes have also been made in the two-month plan. The Rs 579 plan will now cost Rs 629, which will offer 1.5 GB data per day, while the Rs 629 plan was earlier priced at Rs 533, which will offer 2 GB data per day for 56 days.

For those looking for longer-term options, the three-month Rs 799 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 666, now offers 1.5GB of data per day. The Rs 1199 plan, which has increased from Rs 999, now includes 3GB of data per day for 84 days. Annual plans like the Rs 3599 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 2999, now offer 2.5GB of data per day for the entire year.

Changes have also been made in the new Jio postpaid plan, in which the price of the Rs 349 plan has now increased from Rs 299 to Rs 349 and it will get 30 GB data in every billing cycle. The price of the Rs 449 plan was earlier Rs 399, but now it will get 75 GB data in every billing cycle.

Comment: All Jio plans that offer 2GB or more data per day will include unlimited 5G data.

Airtel changes prepaid and postpaid plans, full list of new prices

Airtel has also increased the prices of its plans. The Rs 199 monthly prepaid plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 179, now offers 2GB data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. The Rs 349 plan, which has increased from Rs 299, offers 1.5GB data per day, while the Rs 449 plan, which has now increased from Rs 399 to Rs 449, offers 3GB data per day for 28 days.

For extended validity, the Rs 579 plan, which was earlier Rs 479, offers 1.5GB data per day for 56 days. The three-month Rs 859 plan, which is increased from Rs 719, now offers 1.5GB data per day for 84 days. Annual plans like the Rs 1999 plan, increased from Rs 1799, now offer 24GB data for 365 days.

Airtel’s postpaid plans have also been updated. The Rs 449 plan now offers 40GB of data with rollover, includes unlimited calls and 100SMS per day. The Rs 999 plan for families offers 190GB of data and also includes subscription to popular streaming services.

Comment: All plans that offer 2GB or more data per day will include unlimited 5G data.

Vi revised prepaid/postpaid plans, full list of new prices

For those who want unlimited voice calling, Vi has revised its prepaid plans. The 28-day plan is now priced at Rs 199 from Rs 179 and offers 2GB data, unlimited calls, and 300 SMS. The 84-day plan is now priced at Rs 509 from Rs 459 and offers 6GB data, unlimited calls, and 300 SMS. For long-term users, the 365-day plan is now priced at Rs 1999 from Rs 1799 and offers 24GB data, unlimited calls, and 300 SMS.

Vi has also updated its daily data plans. The 1GB per day plan for 28 days is now priced at Rs 299, up from Rs 269, and includes unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. The 1.5GB per day plan for 28 days is now priced at Rs 349, up from Rs 299, and comes with additional benefits such as unlimited midnight data from 12 AM to 6 AM, weekend data rollover, data delight, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day. The 2GB per day plan for 28 days is now priced at Rs 379, up from Rs 319, and includes the same additional benefits as the Rs 349 plan.

For the longer term, the 56-day plans now include Rs 579, which offers 1.5GB data per day, up from Rs 479, and Rs 649, which offers 2GB data per day, up from Rs 539. Both plans come with additional benefits such as unlimited midnight data, weekend rollover, data delight, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day.

The 84 day plan has now increased from Rs 719 to Rs 859, offering 1.5GB data per day, and from Rs 839 to Rs 979, offering 2GB data per day, along with the same additional features. For annual users, the 365 day plan has now increased from Rs 2899 to Rs 3499, offering 1.5GB data per day, along with all the mentioned additional benefits.

Apart from the main plans, VI has also revised its data add-ons. The price of 1-day data add-on has now increased from Rs 19 to Rs 22, which will offer 1GB data, while the price of 3-day data add-on has now increased from Rs 39 to Rs 48, which will offer 6GB data.

For postpaid users, Vi has updated its individual and family plans. The Rs 401 individual plan is now Rs 451, which offers 50GB data with rollover up to 200GB, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS and a choice of one complimentary benefit from Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount or Norton Mobile Security for a year. The Rs 501 plan is now Rs 551, which offers 90GB data with rollover up to 200GB, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS and two benefits from options like Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, EazyDiner for 6 months and the services mentioned earlier.

For families, the 2-line plan now increases from Rs 601 to Rs 701, which includes 70GB for the primary line and 40GB for the secondary line, rollover up to 200GB, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS and two benefits for the primary line. The 4-line plan now increases from Rs 1001 to Rs 1201, which includes 140GB for the primary line and 40GB for each secondary line, rollover up to 200GB, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS and two benefits for the primary line.
