Reliance Jio has launched a new Wi-Fi 6 router in India called Jio AX6000 Universal router, which is aimed at users who want a sharp and reliable internet connection in large homes and smart setups. At a price of Rs 5,999, this dual-band router provides speed, comprehensive coverage and support of 4,800Mbps for more than 100 devices at the same time. According to Jio, their new router works with all internet service providers (ISPS) and is compatible with fiber, broadband and DSL connections. With features such as Jio’s true AI Aries, MU-MIMO, and OFDMA technology, AX6000 is designed to make anyone with big families, gamers and smart home setup accessible and skilled.

Jio AX6000 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band under a single SSID, so users do not need to manually switch network while walking around the house. It provides a speed of up to 4,800Mbps on the 5GHz band and up to 1,200Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, which combines to offer a maximum theoretical speed of 6,000Mbps. Thanks to the support of the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard, users can expect better range, better network stability and low delays with several devices associated with one time.

One of the main attraction of this router is that it comes with the underlying Jio True AI Aries support, which means that users can combine several routers together for seamless Wi-Fi coverage in a large location. The AX6000 is also equipped with a quad-core chipset for smooth performance and features advanced lan ports that claim to be four times faster than traditional ports.

In terms of compatibility, AX6000 works universally with any existing internet setup through an Ethernet connection. It does not support IPPOE or PPOE setup, only IP on DHCP. It is easy to set the device, also – users just need to plug it and follow the instructions through the Jiohome app, which is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.

The router is asked to cover about 2,000 square feet in itself and is ideal for activities such as 4K streaming, cloud gaming, or simply managing several connected smart devices. With the MU-MIMO and OFDMA support, it is designed to handle over 100 equipment without slowing the network.

The Jio AX6000 Universal Router is currently available to buy on Jio’s official website and other e-commerce platforms. Buyers get one year warranty on the router and six months warranty on the power adapter.
