Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which released in theaters on October 11, is facing tough competition from Rajkummar Rao and Trupti Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh video at the box office. Jigra, which opened with single digit figures at the domestic box office, witnessed a rise over the festive weekend. The film saw an increase in its collection with Rs 6.50 crore.

As per early estimates from Sacknilk, the Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina film garnered significant growth on its first Saturday. liver It earned Rs 6.50 crore on its second day at the box office, taking its total collection under the Vasan Bala directorial to Rs 11.05 crore.

The film’s earnings are expected to increase as Sunday (October 13) is a weekend. However, its success will ultimately depend on its performance during weekdays.

Jigra is Alia Bhatt’s second production venture after the 2022 Netflix black comedy, Darlings. She is co-producing this new film in association with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra was released in theaters on October 11.
