Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat recently shared the screen in the OTT movie Jewel Chor – Warist begins. This marked his first cooperation. Now, Saif has revealed whether there was any competition between them on the set. He shared that acting was a competitive field, he felt happy about his co-star’s contribution to the film.
In an interview with The Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan was asked about the competition on the set of the two-hero film Jewel Chor. In response, he said that the most important thing was the film. He explained that, in this sense, there was no competition because he was happy about his co-star’s appearance and contribution to the film.
Although Saif said that although he was not directly competing with Jaideep Ahlawat as an actor, acting is a competitive field itself. He mentioned that each character is trying to stand out. The actor said that when a person is performing a scene with passion, they want their voice to be the most important. He said that he was competing with everyone else in that sense.
Saif Ali Khan said that this competition is not negative or harmful. “When Jaideep hit a shot, I am very happy for the film and myself because I am going to benefit from it and then I am ‘fine, I do better and do well,” he shared.
Saif further admitted that there may be moments in the past when he felt competitive or insecure, as it is a natural part of the profession. However, in jewel thieves and most other projects, he revealed that the film was previously focused on the film. “In addition, Jaideep is great to compete. He is one of the best actors around today,” the actor concluded.
