Actor Jeremy Rainer has criticized Disney, alleging that the studio proposed a salary for Hawki’s second season which was already half of his earnings. Speaking at high-performance podcasts, Rainer expressed his disappointment, specifically presented in light of a life-threatening accident, which he ended in the beginning of 2023.

“Am I only half the Jeremy?”

Rainer, who spent months of recovering after being run by a snowoplo last year, said he was surprised by a low proposal. He said, “He asked me to do season two, and he gave me half the money,” he said. “I am liking, ‘Do you think I am only half Jeremy because I am gone?” Rainer explained that the commitment of the work must have been the same – about eight months – but for a very low salary.

Rainer says that there is no Marvel decision

As reported by the Hollywood reporter, Rainer clarified that the decision was made not by Marvel Studio, but by Disney’s Financial Decision Manufacturers. He said, “It’s not really a disney – this is Penny Pinches, an accountant,” he said. The actor claims that he did not demand an increase, but was just asked to pay as season one. “I told him to fly a kite,” he said, called the proposal “an insult”.

Dispute from Disney Source

A source of Disney allegedly disputed Rainer’s account, but did not provide details. Despite disagreement, Rainer said that he is fond of Hawkai character, but is on peace with not returning. “My body probably thanked me that I am not doing this right now,” he jokingly said.
