Jennifer Lopez is “very gentle, very careful” while drinking wine in a new video, and she doesn’t drink it all!
The singer became the latest celebrity to join the “humble” trend to promote her cocktail brand and showed how elegant she is while drinking.
On Friday, August 16, Lopez created a video for TikTok and Instagram, promoting her cocktail brand Delola and also explaining the meaning of the word “humble.”
In the video, Lopez can be seen sipping her Delola L’Orange Spritz with abandon, as if to emphasize that it should be sipped slowly, rather than guzzling every drop. It’s the epitome of humility – the careful and elegant enjoyment of beverages.
“See how I do it when I drink from the bottle? Very delicately, very carefully. I don’t just drink it, I don’t drink it all,” J.Lo says in the clip.
Jules Lebron who originated the “humble” trend was overjoyed that Jennifer Lopez has joined them. She commented, “I can’t lie as a white Puerto Rican woman, this is bothering me.” Fans of the Jenny From The Block hitmaker were overjoyed to learn that she has adopted a “humble” lifestyle.
On Saturday, August 17, TikToker LeBron reacted to Jennifer Lopez’s ‘humble’ video on social media. He wrote alongside a clip of the singer, “JLo from the humble block??”
The trend started when Jul Lebron showed her way of preparing carefully and decently for work, which led to many people copying her on social media platforms. Recently, JLo herself also joined in.
LeBron posted about the singer-cum-actress’ participation in the trend on Saturday and expressed his happiness via TikTok. She appeared surprised and extremely happy with her participation in the delicacy and called it an unexpected but exciting event.
Lopez is not the only celebrity who has joined the “humble” trend. Other celebrities like Olivia Rodrigo, Bebe Rexha, SZA, Rumer Willis and Lizzo have also adopted it. Even the White House has not remained untouched by this trend.
Later on August 13, Lizzo featured herself in a video featuring SZA acting ‘so cute’, ‘so careful’, ‘humble’ on Instagram. A few days later, Olivia Rodrigo and Bebe Rexha also gave their own versions of the “humble” content on their social media platforms.
Even President Joe Biden talked about student loan cancellation recently on the White House Instagram account, which is similar to the careful and sober tone of this trend. The White House captioned, “Canceling student debt for nearly 5 million Americans through a variety of actions. Very careful. Very humble.”
