Jennifer Lopez spent Christmas with her kids in Aspen amid her divorce from Ben Affleck. The Atlas actress shared a carousel of photos on Instagram, giving a glimpse of her family vacation. In one of the photos, Lopez, her 16-year-old daughter Emme and her niece Lucy sat together wearing winter gear while each held a cup of coffee.
Another video showed a gorgeous snow-covered view from the window of an Aspen home. The photos also featured a rare appearance from JLo’s sister Linda and another photo showed Emme and Lucy wearing matching pajamas next to the Christmas tree, surrounded by gifts.
The On the Floor singer kept her winter fashion game on top by wearing an oversized fur hood and matching boots. Meanwhile, her child wore a warm black puffy jacket to stay warm.
Earlier that day, the actress had shared a glimpse of her family’s Christmas eve celebrations on her Instagram stories. The post showed her gathered around a fireplace with her sister and kids for a cozy celebration. “Merry Christmas Eve to you and yours,” she wrote in her caption.
The video post also shows a giant glittering Christmas tree in the corner of the living room and a glimpse of her children Emme and twin brother Max, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Lopez surrounded herself with family amid her messy and public divorce from Ben Affleck. The now-separated couple had their first engagement in 2000 which was called off due to their inability to handle the media pressure at that time.
They rekindled their romance in 2021 and said ‘I do’ a year later. However, their whirlwind reunion was short-lived as the actress filed for divorce, ending their two-year-long marriage. During their marriage, the couple became a blended family which included their children from their respective previous partners.
According to multiple outlets, Lopez’s children developed a close relationship with Affleck’s children Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. So, despite breaking their marriage they hope to remain involved in each other’s lives and close ones.
