Actor Jassi Gill has been roped in to play a role in Aftab Shivdasani’s upcoming film ‘Kasoor’. The actor, known for roles in films such as ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ and ‘Panga’, is set to play a pivotal role in the upcoming musical romance horror film.

IndiaToday.in has exclusively learned that Jassi will star alongside Aftab Shivdasani and Urvashi Rautela in the upcoming film. Produced by Asif Sheikh of Practical Productions, the film is currently being shot in the beautiful locations of Uttarakhand like Dehradun and Rishikesh.

Aftab Shivdasani has begun shooting for ‘Kasoor’ on June 23. The actor shared his pictures from the sets of the film, which feature his serious and grim look from the 2001 film.

Sharing pictures from the sets of ‘Kasoor 2’, Aftab wrote, “On this special day, as I turn a year older, the only gift I ask for is your love and blessings. Thank you for your love all these years. I am so grateful and blessed to be working on a very special film on this birthday that means so much to me. Love and gratitude. #Kasoor.”

‘Kasoor’ is directed by Glenn Barretto and written by Mudassar Aziz, produced by Babloo Aziz. Aasif Sheikh highlighted the unique blend of romance, music and psychological horror in the film and expressed gratitude for the dedication of Aftab Shivdasani, who celebrated his birthday on the set. The first shooting schedule is underway and the film is expected to release in late 2024 or early 2025.
