Actor Jason Shah, who was recently seen in ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, recently admitted in a podcast that he was once addicted to girls and sex. The actor also shared how he overcame it and said that he is now abstaining from sex until marriage.

In a conversation with YouTube channel Shardul Pandit for Shardulogy, Jason Shah spoke about his addiction and said, “It was an alcohol addiction. I used to smoke about two and a half packs of cigarettes a day. I can definitely say I had an addiction to women. It was a sex addiction that was very difficult for me. I think that was one of the biggest addictions to give up.”

He added: “It’s not easy, it’s hard because you have to say ‘no’. Funda If it feels good, do it. But I’ve realized that’s probably the worst advice you can give someone. I would say from my own life, my worst decisions were made when I felt good. Now I say if it feels good, think about it.”

Talking about how he realised his problem and how he overcame it, Jason Shah said, “I was at a friend’s house and I saw a girl leaving as usual. I felt bad about hurting her. I felt really ashamed and very guilty, and it made me feel very empty. I started believing that there is more to life than the life I was living until then and that’s where I realised that fame and money don’t matter, because they are there for a moment, and then they are gone.”

Jason also said in the same chat that he has now met someone and he thinks she might be right for him. “There’s no more talk of premarital sex and that sort of thing…” He claimed he didn’t want to get emotionally involved.

“As soon as you have sex with a woman like that, you’re both emotionally involved with each other, where logic is thrown out the window, and you’re basing your whole relationship on emotions, and like I said, emotions are dangerous. Emotions are emotions, and that can be very difficult,” he said.

Jason played the role of Officer Cartwright in ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. Earlier, he was in a relationship with Anusha Dandekar.
