Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who is currently promoting her upcoming film ‘Param Beautiful’, found herself at the center of social media trolling after chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” during the Janmashtami celebrations. The incident occurred on Saturday, when Kapoor participated in a right elephant program as part of the festival.

Facing criticism and memes, the actor has now addressed backlash through Instagram stories. He posted a clip from the incident, showing that he was invited to break by hand, during which the slogan was being chanting by the mob.

In his caption, he wrote, “Just for reference, full video worthy.
