Jana Nayagan, Thalapati Vijay starred in the lead role, slate to hit the big screen on January 9, 2026. In front of the release of the superstar’s alleged final film, the producers have announced that a glimpse will fall on the actor’s birthday.
In a post recently on social media, the film’s production house, KVN Productions announced that a special treatment would be unveiled at midnight on June 22, 2025.
Sharing the update, the manufacturers said, “A lion is always a lion and its first roar.”

For those unknown people, on 22 June, 2025, Thalapathi Vijay will celebrate his 51st birthday, and after the general ideal, the manufacturer will leave an update for his fans.
In 2024, the biggest manufacturers of the All Time aka the goat shared a similar update at midnight, introducing a small glimpse of the superstar in dual roles.
Talking about the upcoming film, Jana Nayagan (meaning People’s Hero) is a political action drama directed by H Wenthoth. The superstar in the Tamil language film is expected to play co-leaders with actors like Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde as a former police officer.
Mainly with these actors, the film offers a troop of actors of actors from actors in actors in Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narayan, Priyamani, Mamita Buyu, and many other lead roles.
Additionally, reports suggest that Shruti Haasan has also been planted to play an important character in the film, making it her second cooperation with Vijay.
Since the film is expected to be the last project of Thalapathi Vijay before entering politics as a complete time, Anirudh Ravichandar is crafting the music track and score. In an interview recently, sensational singer Hanumankand confirmed that he performed a song in the film.
Interestingly, in the early days, there was speculation that Jan Nayagan would be a remake of Lord Kesari, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. However, reports suggested that Jan Nayagan makers bought remake rights for the film to use the “Good Touch, Bad Touch” scene from the Telugu film.
In the previous work of Thalapathy Vijay, the superstar was last seen in the Spy Action Drama The Goat, which is available for streaming on Netflix.
