More about Jan Nayakan

Jana Nayagan is a political action drama starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. Along with Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol in co-lead roles, the film also stars Mamita Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Narayan and many others in important roles.

Recently, the makers held an audio launch event in Malaysia, which also included a musical program titled Thalapathi Thiruvizha. The concert paid tribute to the superstar and his illustrious career in Tamil cinema.

As part of the programme, directors Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Nelson Dilipkumar appeared in Malaysia recalling their experiences of working with the superstar. Furthermore, the filmmakers expressed how they would continue to work with the actor even after he announced that he was moving away from cinema.

According to recent reports, the film explores an ideological clash between two individuals who have faced each other in the past. When a child’s silent fear reopens the hero’s old wounds, the former police officer is forced to fight a battle far greater than personal vengeance.

Speculations also suggest that the film will have elements of humans versus AI, and the full runtime of the film may be over 3 hours long. However, no official confirmation has been made.

Additionally, the makers have announced that the film will also be released in Telugu and Hindi, titled Jana Naikudu and Jana Neta respectively.
