James Gunn wraps up ‘Superman’ shooting, shares photo: It’s an honor
Director James Gunn recently shared a photo from the last day on the sets of his upcoming film ‘Superman’. The filmmaker expressed his gratitude to his cast and crew in an emotional post.

Director James Gunn recently posted a photo to mark the last day on the sets of Superman. Sharing a photo with the cast of the film, Gunn expressed his gratitude towards them and their crew and thanked them for their ‘creativity and commitment’.
“And that’s a finale. God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity and hard work brought this project to life. I set out to make a movie about a good man in a world that isn’t always so nice. And the goodness, kindness and love I encountered daily on set inspired me and kept me going when I felt I couldn’t keep up with myself (sic),” Gunn wrote.

The director shared a little more about his journey with the team and said, “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It’s been an honour. The destination has been Superman, but the journey has been hard work and laughter and emotions and ideas and magic that we’ve shared together on set – and for that I will always be grateful.”
The film Superman, starring Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan and Nathan Fillion, will be released in theaters next summer.
