According to the latest report from PEOPLE, Jax Taylor will soon be leaving the in-patient treatment center where he was admitted in late July. “Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be returning home this weekend,” a rep for The Valley star confirmed to PEOPLE on August 19.
The rep added that it’s been an emotional month for the star and he is looking forward to spending time with his three-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, with his ex-wife Brittany Cartwright.
According to a People report published on July 30, Taylor decided to seek treatment at the hospital after a long-term struggle with his mental health following a difficult time amid a separation from his wife and other life difficulties.
Taylor will return to filming as he returns home valleywhich began production for its second season earlier this summer, according to TMZ. The outlet also said Taylor wants to open up about her treatment and progress in mental health treatment on the show, so viewers can expect an emotional new season.
Furthermore, his ex-wife Brittany Cartwright had also previously revealed the reasons why she decided to separate from her husband, including Jax Taylor’s disinterest in sex.
The couple, who rose to fame from the show Vanderpump Rules, had announced their separation in late February after nearly five years of marriage since they tied the knot in 2019.
The former couple first met nearly a decade ago in 2015. Since then, their relationship has been featured on Vanderpump Rules, its spinoff Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, and most recently, The Valley. They married on June 29, 2019; nearly two years later, they welcomed their son on April 12, 2021.
We can’t wait to see Taylor get back to work and start anew on the show The Valley. Its second season is currently being filmed. Season 1 is available to stream on Peacock.
