Tom Holland is having the best time working out with his girlfriend Zendaya! On December 18, the Spider-Man actor appeared on the Dish podcast and shared the benefits of having his romantic partner on a film set. When co-host Nick Grimshaw pointed out that Zendaya enjoys a similar schedule to Holland.
“The studio likes it – a hotel room!” The actor replied jokingly. “Separate the drivers. We’re not crazy. This is the job, okay?” He quipped. Jokes aside, Holland admitted that he loves having the Challenger actress with him on set. He said, “Oh my God, yes. It’s a saving grace. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me.”
The couple first met on the sets of the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming. Although they were surrounded by dating rumors even during the shooting of the franchise’s sequel film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, they repeatedly denied it. They confirmed their relationship in 2021 after a pap video of the kiss went viral.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show, Holland revealed that they will be filming another sequel to the hit 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home, and shooting will begin in summer 2025.
He also revealed that both he and Zendaya have been cast in an untitled film from Christopher Nolan, which also reportedly stars Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Lupita Nyong’o.
“To be honest, I don’t know anything about it,” the Uncharted actor said of the project. “I am very excited. Everything is very, very quiet. I met him; It was amazing,” he added. He also teased that although the Academy Award-winning director has laid out the story loosely, he will share more details soon.
During the podcast episode, Holland also revealed that he and the Dune actress are bringing their busy lives into the public eye. He revealed that his bond with Zendaya comes from “the feeling of being able to connect with each other over something that is so unique.”
They’re organized about where they want to go, which restaurants have small back rooms that can give them privacy, and other things. The actor said, “But ultimately, it’s not a difficulty. When people are recognizing you because they enjoy your work, it’s a very wonderful thing.”
