The panoramic TV series Patal Lok has tilted the audience since the first aired on the Amazon Prime Video on 15 May 2020. After the successful run of the first season, the manufacturers announced season 2, which premiered on 17 January 2025 on Prime, video India. The actor revealed that he was very upset when he came to know about the twist when he read the script of Patal Folk Season 2. Calling it a “end of the road”, Singh revealed that he would no longer be a part of it. Talking to publication, The soil: A Nay Pehchan Actror said that he received the same response from his co-star Jaideep Ahlawat and all associated with the trending series closely.
Recalling the time when he first read the script, he revealed that everyone was in a state of shock. Later, when the show was released, the audience also responded and was upset about their murder. In fact, many people told him that he stopped watching the show, while some took time to digest the fact that his favorite character was killed.
“It’s crazy, but it shows how much this character loved,” he said, saying that the sequence impressed many people. Apart from Singh and Ahlawat, season 2 also features Tilotama Shom, Gul Panag, Nagesh Kukunur, Jahnu Barua, Anurag Arora, Prashant Tamang, Merlenla Imsong and LC Sakeos.
