1. Clean burps

Clear, odorless burps after eating are a sign of good digestion. According to experts, burps are called “clean” if they have no sour, bitter or bad taste, which means stomach acids are well balanced. When the digestive system is working properly, food is broken down properly, preventing acid reflux and gas formation. However, if your burps are sour or bitter, it could mean your digestion is poor, which can lead to bloating and other digestive problems.

2. Enthusiasm

Do you feel enthusiastic about life? Every morning, when you wake up, do you look forward to the day? Then this could mean that you have good digestion. Experts say that when your body is properly nourished, it is full of energy which means you will have a positive attitude about life. But, if your body is not properly nourished, it can lead to poor digestion due to the storage of toxins inside which causes fatigue and lack of motivation.

3. Clear request

If you have a clear and regular urge to poop and pee, it could be a sign of a healthy digestive system. Proper elimination of waste and toxins from our body is essential for a happy gut. According to the expert, when your digestive system is functioning adequately, it processes and digests food more efficiently without causing any discomfort. However, if you experience constipation regularly, it could mean that your system is sluggish and waste is building up in your body.

4. Feeling lighter

Feeling light and energized after a meal, rather than a heavy meal, is another sign of good digestion. When the digestive system is working well, it digests food more efficiently and breaks down food quickly. According to the expert, if you feel lethargic after having a meal, it means that “ama” or toxins have accumulated in your body.

5. Good appetite and thirst

Experts say that having a healthy appetite and thirst is a clear sign that your digestive system is in good shape. A strong appetite indicates that your digestive fire, or “agni,” is balanced and ready to break down the food in your stomach. In the same way, if you feel thirsty enough at regular intervals, it indicates proper hydration and a well-functioning metabolism. However, if you don’t feel the urge to eat regularly, or feel thirsty enough, it could mean that your digestive system is sluggish.
