In short

  • Extending battery life can help increase the longevity of a Samsung Galaxy phone
  • One of the ways to promote Samsung Galaxy’s life is to reduce screen timeout
  • Save battery by switching Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

Let’s be real, getting out of the battery of the phone in the middle of the day is one of the great inconveniences of modern life. Whether you are looking for your way for some new brunch joint or in the middle of a hot group chat debate, your phone is breaking on you, less than convenient. But if you are using Samsung Galaxy phones, the company has shared some tips that can help you use the phone for a long time. Here are some ways to spread the life of your battery, and most do not require degrees in electrical engineering.

1. That screen bright

Your Samsung Galaxy screen can be beautiful, but it is also a power-sucking animal. Reducing glow and reducing your screen timeout can lead to a big difference. To pull the glowing slider down, swipe over your screen and slide it to the left. You can close your display fast when you are not in use; A 30-second time with Auto Brightness is a good combination.

2. Battery-drawing apps evicted

Still clinging to apps that you have not opened since 2022? it’s time to say goodbye. The background app can silent your battery quietly. Tap on the app icon on your home screen and tap on the “uninstall”, or navigate them on the Settings> App to uninstall them in bulk. Can’t uninstall it? Disable it. This is your next best option, especially for repetitive pre-installed apps.

3. Rethinks always on performance

Samsung’s performance is always convenient to keep an eye on time or information, but it is also a subtle battery killer. Settings> Go to the lock screen> Always shut it down either on performance or show it only at a specific time.

4. Cut wireless nonsense

If you are not using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GPS, turn off them. Each of these features scans for regular connections, which eats the battery. Togle them through the pull-down Quick Settings menu.

5. Switch to power saving mode

Enable power saving mode to restrict background activity, slow down the screen, and take a performance hit – all for the more good of your battery. To enable it manually, go to Settings> Device Maintenance> Battery or set it to activate it automatically.

6. Update software and see syncing

Old software can be a secret battery killer. Look for updates in Settings> about the phone. In addition, they curb apps that continuously sink, such as email or social media. Do you sink them less or only when you manually refresh them.

7. Handle with care

Avoid running your battery flat. The modern lithium battery does not appreciate being completely discharged. Try to keep your charge above 20%. And if you are away for a while, then store it in a cool, dry place at about 50% charge. No, the freezer is not counted – it will harm more than good!

8. See the strength of the signal

Less signal? Your phone will work overtime trying to drain, connect the battery. If you are in a weak coverage area, consider switching to airplane mode when not using the device.
