Director SS Rajamouli was first reported to start work on a Dadasaheb Phalke project, titled Made in India, which is to be played by Nitin Kakkar. Those reports show that either junior NTR or Prabhas can title the film, now it seems that the film is delayed.

Dadasaheb Phalke Project of SS Rajamouli delayed due to junior NTR and Prabhas?

According to reports, JR NTR was initially associated with the project, but due to scheduling conflicts, the manufacturers consider replacing it with Prabhas instead. However, it seems that Bahubali actor is also associated with his former commitments.

According to a Mid-Day report, Prabhas will be busy for the rest of the 2025 and will be engaged in the entire 2026. The actor is expected to start shooting for Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s soul this year and will later work on Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, 2898 AD.

Allegedly, director Nitin has also shifted his attention to Avia 2, who is starring Emraan Hashmi, instead of waiting for the Dadasaheb Phalke project to start production. Interestingly, Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani are also once again forming a team for the same subject, which is a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke.

Prabhas and Junior NTR’s upcoming movies

Prabhas is ready for his next film The Raja Saab, directed by Mahee. The Horror Comedy Romantic Actioner has been slated to release on January 9, 2026, which coincides with Pongal and Sankranti next year.

The film tells the story of a young man, who is planning to sell his ancestral property to resolve his financial crisis. However, his world turns upside down when his grandfather’s manvolate spirit starts to disturb and terrorize him.

The film stars Malvika Mohanan, Nidhi Egrawal and Riddhi Kumar as women’s co-leaders. Apart from him, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Zarina Wahab, Boman Irani and many other lead roles.

In addition, the actor is currently working temporarily under the title Fauji (Prabhashanu).

On the other hand, JR NTR is currently filming for its large -scale action entertainer, which is temporarily titled Dragon (NTRNEL). The film, directed by Prasant Neil, is considered Rukmini Vasant and Tovino Thomas as co-Leides.
