While talking to Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir Kapoor told that he is taking training for three to four hours daily for the role in the film. When asked about the film, Ranbir told that it has not been announced yet.
Sharing his training routine, the actor said that he has actually changed his workout style for this project. “Earlier it was like dumbbells and pushing and chest presses and proteins and all of that. I am working with a very interesting trainer. He is from Korea and his name is Nam. He has actually completely changed my perception about training. I train with him for three hours a day,” Ranbir said.
Sharing more about the routine, the Animal actor revealed that in the morning, he does mobility, stretching and cardio from 11 am to 1 pm. He then takes a nap for an hour in the afternoon and then trains from 5 pm to 7 pm.
He’s doing new things that have nothing to do with machines or weights, and he has lots of pull-ups, squats, deadlifts, and handstands and headstands to lift weights.
“It’s a lot, but I am doing it because I am preparing for a role. It is definitely the most challenging role for me. It requires a different level of preparation, for which I have been preparing for the last seven months,” he said.
