Prabhas and director Dinjith Ayyathan recently met, the filmmaker shared a picture of his meeting with the Rebel star. As soon as the new post went viral, speculations started rife whether the actor is getting ready to collaborate with her on a future project.

Taking to his social media handle, Dinjith Ayyathan wrote, “Meeting superstar Prabhas. A wonderful evening full of great conversations, laughter and a lovely dinner. Really loved the prawn biryani! Thank you Prabhas sir for the wonderful hospitality and making it such a warm and memorable evening. Also grateful to Vijay sir and Homble Films.”
After the post, there was speculation on social media whether the two would work together in the future. However, no official confirmation has been made.

Earlier, the director had also met Dhanush. Reportedly, the actor is also keen to work with him, with the filmmaker currently waiting for a suitable subject for their collaboration. Earlier, Dhanush had also praised Eko on social media.
For those unaware, Dinjith Ayyathan had previously directed Eko, which is based on Mlathi Chedathi, an elderly woman living in the remote hilly area of Kattukunnu near the Kerala-Karnataka border. With her children away, her only companion is her caretaker, Pios.
Mlathi is one of the wives of notorious dog breeder Kuriyachan, who is being hunted by both the state and the terrorist group. As he remains in hiding, Mlathi and Pyos begin to uncover hidden truths about him, unraveling a mystery filled with tension and suspicion.
The film stars Sandeep Pradeep in the lead role, along with Biyana Momin, Sim Zee Fei, Vineet, Saurabh Sachdeva, Narayan, Ashokan and Binu Pappu in lead roles.
Before Eko, the director had also directed the Asif Ali starrer Kishkindha Kaandam.

Prabhas will next be seen in the lead role in the period action drama Fauji. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the upcoming film will star debutant Imanvi in the co-lead role, along with Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada and others in lead roles. The film is expected to release during Dussehra 2026.
Additionally, the actor also has Spirit in its lineup. The police action drama, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is scheduled to release on March 5, 2027, starring Trupti Dimri and Vivek Oberoi in the co-lead roles.
