Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams are going strong, a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. On Saturday, October 5, the Normal People breakout star was spotted at Abrams’ Radio City Music Hall concert in New York City. According to the source, Mescal was having a lot of fun, lip-syncing and dancing during her performance.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in June when TMZ posted photos of them having lunch together in London. According to The Daily Mail, they were spotted out in the city again, this time holding hands. In August, the two looked playfully affectionate during a stroll in London, confirming their relationship.
“They’re hooking up and it’s still early stages,” a source told People at the time. The Gladiator II actor and Abrams attended the All Points East festival in London in August, where Mescal was seen embracing the Close to You singer while enjoying Mitski’s performance.
Former Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones joined her with her boyfriend Ben Seed. As for the pop star, she’s currently on her The Secret of Us Tour, which also included her Radio City Music Hall performance. The tour will continue in Boston, Philadelphia and Portland.
Before starting her tour, she made a cameo at Taylor Swift’s concert during the final leg of the Erasure Tour. In January, the Tough Love singer spoke to PEOPLE about her experience sharing the stage with the Maroon singer. “Being even a small part of that tour changed the course of my life in many ways,” he said.
He praised Swift for being an incredible artist and a generous friend. Abrams said that his confidence in her meant a lot, and that she would always be grateful to him as a fellow actor. He added, “It’s no surprise to me that their confidence in me has really meant a lot.”
