Madonna’s son David Banda is living his life alone after moving out of his mother’s house. In a recent candid conversation, Banda revealed that he is looking for food as he has no money left at the end of the day. A few days ago, the guitarist also shot an Instagram live where he talked about his life after moving away from the pop star’s house. Banda is learning to play the guitar to earn extra income despite his mother being a millionaire.
During the live session, the 18-year-old also said that he is currently living with his girlfriend, who supports him through the daily difficulties he faces.
What did David Banda say about his life after moving out of Madonna’s house?
On his Instagram account, David Banda scheduled a live session for his fans and friends where he opened up about his adult life after moving out of Madonna’s luxurious Upper East mansion. During his live session, Banda said, “It’s great to experience nine o’clock at night, I’m hungry and realizing I don’t have enough money to go out and eat.” He further added, “It’s fun to be young.”
After moving out, Banda currently resides in the Bronx, where he teaches guitar to his students.
Although it is unclear when Banda moved out of the pop icon’s home, her son made sure to always be by Madonna’s side during her health scare. The singer was also worried about her kids. On her Instagram account, the Material Girl singer shared a photo of herself and wrote in the caption, “When I woke up in the hospital my first thought was my kids.”
Meanwhile, Banda also confirmed Madonna’s split from her ex-boyfriend Josh Popper.

Madonna breaks up with Josh Popper
In May 2024, a source close to Madonna and her ex-boyfriend Josh Popper revealed that the two broke up due to differences. The insider spoke to a media outlet and shared, “Madonna has barely seen Josh for months because her schedule was so busy. Things just fizzled out.”
The source also revealed that there was no bitterness between the two and they still like each other. However, things did not work out in their favour.
