Ravi Teja is all set to star in his 77th film, titled Irumudi. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the upcoming film is said to explore themes of devotion, as hinted at in the first look. Now it seems that Tamannaah Bhatia can play an important role in the film.
Is Tamannaah Bhatia acting in Ravi Teja’s Irumudi?
According to 123 Telugu, Tamannaah Bhatia is being considered for the lead role in Irumudi. It is expected that the actress will play an important role in the film. However, the makers have not yet given official confirmation.
First, Ravi Teja and Tamanna starred together in the film Bengal Tiger, which was released in 2015. The action-comedy film directed by Sampath Nandy received mixed reviews from critics upon release.
If the news about Irumudi turns out to be true, the film will mark the reunion of the pair on the big screen after 11 years.
For those unaware, irumudi is an upcoming film starring Ravi Teja in the lead role. Directed by Shiv Nirvana, the film is based on the themes of faith, belief and change. Keeping in line with the theme, the first look of Irumudi featured Ravi Teja in traditional Ayyappa Swamy attire, against the backdrop of a lively procession filled with devotees.
After a long series of commercial ventures, this film appears to be a departure from Mass Maharaja’s usual projects. Reports also indicate that the film may revolve around the relationship between a father and daughter.
Along with Priya Bhavani Shankar and Baby Nakshatra in the co-lead roles, the film also stars Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, Swasika, Meesala Lakshman, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramana Bhargava, Kishore Kancherapalam and Karthik Addusumalli among others in lead roles.

Ravi Teja was last seen in the lead role in the romantic comedy Bharatha Mahasayulaku Vignyapati, co-starring Aashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi. The film tells the story of Ram Satyanarayan, a vineyard owner in India who tries to balance his marriage and his girlfriend before both relationships fall apart, focusing on how long he can keep this up.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film is set to premiere on March 13, 2026 on OTT platform ZEE5.
On the other hand, tamanna bhatia She was last seen acting in Shahid Kapoor’s film ‘O Romeo’. Looking to the future, the actress is expected to be seen in films like Ragini 3 and V. Shantaram. She will also play the co-lead role in Vishal’s film Purushan directed by Sundar C.
