iQOO launched its first smartwatch earlier this year, which was a round watch with Blu OS. Now the company is introducing its second watch, which is rectangular in shape, and also a new pair of TWS buds.

iQOO Watch GT

The iQOO Watch GT features a 1.85” OLED display with a 390 x 450px resolution. It can reach a maximum brightness of 600 nits and automatically select between 256 brightness levels depending on ambient conditions.

The display has an Always On mode, which pairs with the AI Smart Window feature – it shows important information about upcoming flights, movie showtimes, medication and more. The AI also helps keep your notes organised – you can write a note to the watch, which will be transcribed and synced with your phone. It can then be polished or summarised with the help of the AI.

And yes, it has both a microphone and a speaker, so you can use it for calls. With the optional eSIM version, you can make calls even if you forget your phone at home. The watch also has a built-in GPS receiver and Baidu Maps for navigation. A circularly polarized antenna claims to triple GPS signal reception. NFC enables the watch to act as your bus ticket or car key.

This is not a Wear OS device but instead uses Blu OS, which is developed by Vivo. This platform has its own app store from which you can download additional apps and some games as well.

The wrist straps are replaceable and you can further customize the look of the iQOO Watch GT with the AI watch face generator – just give it a hint and it will do the rest. Alternatively, you can convert photos into different art styles.

The GT promises up to 21 days of battery life (with e-SIM disabled), but 10 days would be more common. If used with e-SIM enabled, the watch should last between 3 and 9 days.

The iQOO TWS 1i Buds promise impressively long battery life – the buds can last up to 10 hours on their own and with the charging case, the total listening time goes up to 45 hours.

The buds have 10mm dynamic drivers and support the LC3 codec, plus there’s a gaming mode with latency as low as 55ms. And when you’re done with gaming, you can even take these out for a run in the rain – they’re IP54 rated. They lack active noise cancellation, but they’re available at a low price.

Pricing and Availability

The iQOO Watch GT is available now, with an MSRP of CNY 500 ($69/€64/₹5,750) for the Bluetooth version (there’s a small discount of CNY 20 right now). The version with eSIM is CNY 800 ($110/€100/₹9,200). Note that this is technically a pre-order, but it’s a small one – the first units will ship on the 16th.

As we mentioned above, the iQOO TWS 1i have a surprisingly low price – just CNY 100 ($14/€13/₹1,150). In fact, you can get them for as low as CNY 60 if you purchase them alongside the new iQOO Neo9S Pro+.
