If we go by last year’s launch timeline, the iQOO 13 is expected to launch within 4 months. The iQOO 12 was made available in China in November, right after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip was announced. This year, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip will be announced in November, after which iQOO might reveal its plans to launch the iQOO 13 smartphone. It is expected to arrive in India in December. But, since it is too early for the brand to confirm its launch, the fresh leak has at least given a good idea of what to expect from the iQOO 13 in terms of specs.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 13 is rumoured to feature an OLED panel with a 2K resolution, a step up from the 1.5K resolution AMOLED display on the iQOO 12. Despite earlier rumours of a curved display, the new model is expected to retain the flat design. The device may feature a glass body with a metal frame. It will reportedly feature a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for better security and usability.

Under the hood, the iQOO 13 is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is also expected to feature in other flagship models such as the OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15. The device may come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

One of the significant upgrades could be its battery capacity, which is rumoured to get a bigger 6,000mAh battery, up from the 5,000mAh battery on the iQOO 12. Charging capabilities could also see improvements, with some reports suggesting 100W fast charging, although there is some conflicting information on whether it could support 120W fast charging. Additionally, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature 50W wireless charging, which was missing on its predecessor.

Photography enthusiasts can also expect something new. The iQOO 13 is expected to feature a robust camera setup with a triple-camera system consisting of three 50-megapixel sensors: a main sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. This configuration mirrors the setup found in the iQOO 12, although the telephoto lens in the previous model was a 64-megapixel sensor. For gamers, the iQOO 13 is expected to include a larger X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback and overall gaming performance. The device is also expected to come with an IP68 rating, which protects it from water and dust.

To recall, the iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, optical in-display fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The iQOO 13 is expected to be priced under Rs 60,000.
