The iPhone 17 series launch is still a few months away, but the latest leaks have made us a initial look at equipment and possible design changes. Courtesy of Tipster Sunny Dixon, images of dummy units for the entire iPhone 17 lineup-including standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max-All four models have surfaced, all four models show side-side in black and white colors. While the standard models seem to carry forward the familiar design of the iPhone 16, the Pro and the air models appear to bring the biggest visual change this year. Most especially, they facilitate a new horizontal camera bar, away from Apple’s traditional square camera module.

The most eye -catching change in leaked dummy units is the camera layout designed on iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Instead of the square camera bump seen on the previous pro model, Apple is transferring to a long, horizontal bar-style residence. This module moves in the top section of the back panel and is mixed with the body color of the phone, giving the device a cleaner and more modern appearance. Both Pro models still have triple cameras, suggesting that Apple is retaining its major photography features, but now with a fresh layout.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Air -iPhone 16 Plus is expected to replace – also plays a unique camera module. It appears to be a slimmer compared to other models and includes a pellet -shaped horizontal camera island with a single rear camera. This is an important departure from other models in the lineup and can help the iPhone 17 stand out with its ultra-skinned design. Rumors suggest that 17 wind thickness will be just 5.5 mm.

Beyond the change in design, Apple is rumored to introduce several upgrade in the iPhone 17 series. For the first time, 120Hz displays promotion with refresh rates, can be introduced on all models, not only the Pro variants. The new Ltpo OLED panels are also always expected to support performance features, although it is not clear whether it will be extended to the standard and air model.
The front camera on all iPhone 17 models can get a major upgrade in 24 megapixels with six-element lenses, which should improve selfie quality and video calls. On Pro Max, Apple may also include a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, a notable jump from the current 12-megapixel sensor.
Under the hood, Apple is expected to power the iPhone 17 lineup with the next generation A19 chip, built on a sophisticated 3Nm process. The Pro model will probably get the A19 Pro variants for better performance and battery efficiency. Apple has also talked about introducing its in-house 5G modem in the iPhone 17 Air, which is a place to solve Qualcomm, although it cannot support MMWave connectivity.
On the connectivity front, the support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 is expected in the board, promising rapid speed and better wireless performance. The iPhone 17 series may also have a hard anti-reflex display coating for better scratch resistance and visibility under sunlight in the series.
Apple is bound to more leak surfaces in the coming months, according to its general launch timeline, with the possibility of unveiling the iPhone 17 lineup in September.
