A new iPhone 17 Pro video has surfaced, stating how different it will be from the iPhone 16 Pro. There are some expected changes to look forward.
Listen to the story

Apple is currently working on the upcoming iPhone 17 series. While everyone is excited about the rumor iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro is also estimated to be promising. According to previous reports, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to bring several upgrade compared to the iPhone 16 Pro. A recent video shows what these changes are, especially the design part. To be clear, these details are based only on rumors and leaks. Apple has not confirmed any glasses or facilities yet.
iPhone 17 Pro vs iPhone 16 Pro: Video shows design changes
A new front video on X shared by Tipster Majin Boo is considered a dummy unit of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro, which is believed to highlight one of its most noticeable design changes – a re -designed camera module. Unlike the iPhone 16 Pro, which holds its camera system in the top-left corner, the module of the iPhone 17 Pro is now spread horizontally across the device.

This change in design has inspired the comparison of Google’s Pixel series, although many observers feel that Apple’s tech lacks its opponent’s refinement. The layout has an unusual amount of empty space between the camera lens, flash, sensor, and microphone – a description that has been raised to the eyebrows. Speculation suggests that Apple may plan to introduce a dedicated accessory to complement the new camera island, possibly a purpose-manufactured cover.

Apart from this major change, the rest of the design of the iPhone 17 Pro is largely familiar. Action button, volume keys, power switches, and camera control buttons all occupy their normal positions. Additionally, reports indicate that the display size will correspond to the iPhone 16 Pro, strengthens the idea that this year’s upgrade will focus more on the camera hardware than the overhaul of the overall design of the phone.

In addition to the design, Apple is estimated to bring back the aluminum frame. The most notable is a possible change in materials – after two generations of the Titanium frame with the iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro, Apple is now rumored to adopt aluminum for the iPhone 17 Pro. It marks a return for the final used material in a Pro iPhone before the Stainless-Steel iPhone X, a lighter, possibly indicating a more cost-skilled approach.
The camera technique is expected to see the most dramatic jump. The leak suggests that the front-faceing camera in all iPhone 17 models can receive a major upgrade for 24-megapixel sensors-sufficient improvement on the 12-megapixel unit in the present Pro model. This will enhance clear selfie and video clarity, which will align with the growing attention of Apple on material manufacturing and use of social media.
Meanwhile, on the rear, the iPhone 17 Pro Max can break the new land by becoming the first iPhone for the facility of 48-megapixel lenses-which includes a main sensor, an ultra-wide and a tetrapism periscope telephoto lens. Pro variants can also be equipped with a mechanical aperture, making users manually control how much light enters light for better results in different lighting conditions.
Display, Apple is expected to make its next generation of A19 Pro chip on a sophisticated 3Nm process. While not yet proceeding to the upcoming 2Nm standard, the A19 Pro should provide incremental improvements in speed and power efficiency compared to the A18 Pro used in the iPhone 16 Pro.
Memory upgrade is also on the card. Reports suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will come with 12GB RAM – a collision with 8GB found in previous pro equipment. This should be translated into better multitasking abilities and smooth operations overall. However, standard iPhone 17 and rumor iPhone 17 Air is expected to maintain 8GB of RAM.
The performance of the battery is another area that attracts attention. The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to pack a large battery, and apple can manufacture the reforms launched with the iPhone 16 series to simplify the battery replacement. The same removable adhesive strips that allowed easy battery servicing on iPhone 16 and 16 plus may also include here, which offers better repairs to users.
However, despite these progresses, charging speed is unlikely to change. The iPhone 17 Pro is still estimated to support a maximum of 35W for wired charging, which means that users should not expect any major enhancement of how quickly the device gets powers.
