The iPhone 16 series has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 79,900. The flagship phone will compete with popular phones like Samsung Galaxy S24, OnePlus 12 and Pixel 9. But here we will compare the iPhone 16 with the recently launched Pixel phones. Here are the details.

The 128GB model of the iPhone 16 is priced at Rs 79,900, while the 256GB model costs Rs 89,900. If you need more storage than that, the 512GB model costs Rs 1,09,900.

The price of Pixel 9 starts at Rs 79,999 for 1256GB storage. There is only one variant of the Pixel 9 smartphone.

The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a maximum brightness of up to 2,000nits. The screen is protected by an upgraded ceramic shield. Like the previous version, it has a punch-hole display design. The iPhone 16 is also rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.

The Pixel 9 has a 6.3-inch OLED screen. It has a 422ppi density and 2424 x 1080 pixels resolution. Google has also provided support for 120Hz variable refresh rate for LTPO technology like the iPhone 16. Apple has reserved ProMotion only for the Pro version. The panel supports 1800nits of local and 2700nits of peak brightness. It has a 24-bit display with top-end Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover glass for protection against scratches and damages.

Pixel 9 has a Tensor G4 chipset. The device has ultrasonic fingerprint and IP68 water-resistant rating. It will also get 7 years of Android OS and security patches. It also has stereo speakers. The standard version comes with 12GB of RAM.

The iPhone 16 features Apple’s latest 3nm octa-core A18 chipset, which has a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It supports Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI-powered features. The Pixel 9 has a 4,700mAh battery that supports 45W wireless charging. It also has wireless charging support. Apple has not revealed the size of the battery, but it is claiming that people will get more battery life than the previous version.

Both Google and Apple do not ship the charger with the phone, so it will have to be purchased separately.
