Apple unveiled its iPhone 15 series during the Wonderlust event in September last year, and soon eager crowds were seen outside the new Apple Store in India, eager to get hold of the latest device. At launch, the 128GB iPhone 15 was priced at Rs 79,900, while the 256GB and 512GB variants were priced at Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900, respectively. Now, here’s some exciting news for those eyeing the iPhone 15: Flipkart’s Mega June Bonanza sale is offering massive discounts on the smartphone. The sale will end today (June 19) and presents a great opportunity to buy the iPhone 15 at a lower price.

Discount is available on iPhone 15 on Flipkart

Flipkart is currently offering the 128GB variant of the iPhone 15 at a discount of 14 percent, bringing its price down to Rs 67,999. Additionally, using Flipkart Axis Bank cards or exchanging an old smartphone can bring down the price even further. The trade-in value depends on the condition of your old phone – the better its condition, the higher the discount. Apart from this, there is also an additional bank discount of Rs 1000 on select credit card non EMI transactions.

iPhone 15 Specifications and Features

The iPhone 15 has a 6.1-inch display and comes in five colour options: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. This model retains the design of the iPhone 14 and earlier models, but replaces the traditional notch with a dynamic island notch, a popular feature of last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models.

On the camera front, the iPhone 15 features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, which promises improved low-light photography and stunning portrait shots. Apple claims the device offers “all-day battery life,” and a recent report suggests its battery life is twice as long as initially promised. The iPhone 15 was said to endure 500 charging cycles while maintaining 80 percent battery health, but Apple now says it can withstand 1000 cycles.

The iPhone 15 is powered by Apple’s A16 Bionic chip, an upgrade from the A15 Bionic chipset used in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus last year. Last year’s Pro model was powered by the A16 chip, which is known for its excellent performance.

A notable change in the iPhone 15 is the switch to a USB Type-C charging port, marking the end of the Lightning port era for Apple and adopting the widely used USB Type-C standard.
