Internet horrified when intruder grabbed Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo came to the rescue
An intruder broke through the barricade at the ‘Wicked for Good’ Singapore premiere event to meet Ariana Grande. Cynthia Erivo came to Ariana’s defense.

In a shocking development at the ‘Wicked for Good’ premiere in Singapore, a fan breached security and walked onto the red carpet holding Ariana Grande’s hand. The singer, who was walking with the film’s cast, was apparently startled, causing actor Cynthia Erivo to immediately step in and save him.
Cynthia immediately apprehended the intruder and physically protected Ariana. He checked on him and asked if he was okay, while other security personnel took the man away. Many stunned fans reacted angrily, many of whom were heard shouting, “Oh my God!” Video footage of the incident has surfaced on X, leaving many viewers worried and angry.

Universal’s ‘Wicked for Good’ is set for a 2024 sequel to the hit Broadway film adaptation. The musical-fantasy brings back Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard of Oz, Ethan Slater as the Bok Woodsman, Marisa Bode as Nessaros Throop and Bowen Yang as Puffany. Jon M Chu directed both films from scripts by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox.
‘Wicked’ was a huge commercial success as it grossed $756 million at the worldwide box office. It became the highest-grossing Broadway adaptation of all time and Universal’s third-biggest film of all time.
‘Wicked for Good’ is scheduled to release in theaters on November 21.
