Instagram revealed a new feature called Blend, designed to give a tilated reel feed specially shared between you and a friend or a group chat. The mixture access to the mixture is only by the invitation, and it offers a fresh, personal selection of the video every day. This update is part of Instagram strategy to promote user interaction and separate itself from Tikokkok, especially the Meta continues to face growing mistrust concerns on its dominance in the social media scenario.

With this feature, the meta-owned social media platform gives you a glimpse in the reels that enjoy you and your friends, while together also create a shared place to add and expose fresh materials together.
Instagram Blend: How to use it?
Instagram has introduced blend to make the platform more fun with friends. To start a mixture, open either a private or group DM and tap the new blend icon at the top of the screen. From there, choose “invite” to select people from chat to join chat. The mixture will be active once at least one person will be active after accepting your invitation.

After accepting an invitation to join a mixture, you will get access to a hand collection of reel to suit the taste of all in chat. If a person in the group engages with the reel – such as reacting to it – Instagram will send you a notification, making it easier to interact in your direct messages. You can return to your shared feed by looking at DM again and reappearing the blend icon.
There is also an option to get out of this feature, even after using it for a while. To get out of a mixture on Instagram, start by opening the app and tapping the paper plane or messenger icon. Next, choose the mixture in which you want to leave. Once inside the chat, tap on the blend icon located in the top-right corner. Then, tap on the three-dot menu on the top-right of the blend screen and select “Except this blend” from the options. This will remove you from the shared reel feed associated with that chat.
The time of facilities may not be better than this. While Meta is also facing a legal lawsuit, its competition – Tiktok’s – fate can be fixed to the American audience. So far, the short-video streaming app is working in the US, but it can be banned on any day. However, President Donald Trump is trying to cut a deal with the Chinese company. While on April 2, there was a deadline for decision making on the whereabouts of Tiktok, Trump has extended it to 75 days.
Instagram app on iPad
According to a recent report, Instagram is finally developing an app designed for iPad. An internal source from within the company has revealed that a version is touched for the tablet. While iPads can currently run the iPhone app, the user experience is less than optimal, as the interface is not properly optimized for large displays. Currently, information about the dedicated iPad app is limited, and there is no official word on when it will be released.
