The celebrations began with a mehndi ceremony in Chennai. The pictures of this special occasion have gone viral on the internet. In the pictures, the bride is seen in a green-yellow lehenga, while the groom Nikolai is wearing a green kurta.
Varalaxmi completed her look with a heavy necklace and beautiful jewellery on her forehead. It was a star-studded event attended by many celebrities including Trisha Krishnan, Lakshmi Manchu and many others.

The Hanu-Man actress is all set to marry her long-time partner Nikolai Sachdev. He is an art gallery operator based in Mumbai. Sachdev owns an art gallery in Mumbai called Gallery 7, which is frequently visited by celebrities. Gallery 7 was founded by Nikolai’s parents Arun and Chandra, who are also well-known art gallery operators in the city.
The lovely couple got engaged in March this year with the blessings of family and friends.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will next be seen opposite superstar Dhanush in his much-awaited film ‘Raayan’. Directed by Dhanush and starring her, the action thriller also features SJ Suryah, Sandeep Kishan, Prakash Raj, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaraghavan and Dushara Vijayan. ‘Raayan’ is set to release on July 26, which coincides with Dhanush’s birthday week.
Apart from this, the Yashoda actress will also be seen in the Kannada action thriller Max.
