The joy of becoming a parent is an amazing feeling, especially when it’s the second time around. Insecure star Jay Ellis and his wife Nina Seniker can surely relate to this feeling as they have welcomed their second child. The couple announced the news via an Instagram post on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Ellis shared a family photo with their newest addition, revealing their son’s name and birth date: “Noah Gray Ellis 7.11.24.” Senicar echoed the excitement in his caption with the same photo, adding, “Wow, we have a son!”
The couple is already parents to their three-year-old daughter Nora Grace. Soon after the announcement, many friends and co-stars of the couple sent their best wishes in joy and excitement.

Following the update, Yvonne Orji, Natasha Rothwell and Dena Lynne North, a writer on the series, offered sweet wishes for the couple. “Auntie Tasha reporting for duty,” Rothwell wrote in the comments. “On 7/11!!!! We love it!” Orji added beneath Senicar’s post.
Apart from them, Quinta Brunson of Abbott Elementary and Sue Bird of the WNBA also sent congratulatory messages. “Oh, congratulations to all of you,” Brunson wrote. According to Vogue, Ellis and model Nina Seniker tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Tuscany, Italy in July 2022 after five years of being together.
Earlier, the couple had postponed their wedding twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions.

The two first met at a bar in Los Angeles in 2015 when they were introduced by a mutual friend (who later officiated the couple’s wedding). The couple made their social media debut on October 30, 2015, when Seniker reposted a photo of the two at an amfAR fundraising event.
However, despite indirectly making their relationship public on social media, the couple kept it private for quite some time until they got married in 2022. Recalling that day, Senicar told Vogue that she was extremely happy and got a chance to celebrate love.
Further, he added that the couple comes from two completely different parts of the world, different cultures and backgrounds and it was quite heartening and amazing to see how it all blended together in such a beautiful and natural way with the people they love the most.
