Infosys has allegedly asked employees to expect a low performance bonus this time
Infosys has allegedly told its employees that the performance bonus for Q4 2025 will be less than expected.

During a recent conference call, Infosys managers and HR told their employees that they would get less than the expected performance bonus for Q4 2025, according to a report. Last month, Infosys posted its Q4 2025 results, which suggests that its profit has been reduced by about 12 percent from year to year. The company posted Rs 7,033 crore as compared to Rs 7,969 crore in the same quarter last year.
The report shows that managers have accepted hard work and long -term workers who are putting workers, and therefore promised to compensate top artists with better bonus payments after seeing the company’s profits.
Last year, in December, Infosys gave a performance of 80 percent to the majority of its eligible employees.
Infosys is not the only company that is cutting the performance-based bonus payment of workers. Last week, TCS reduced the variable salary of its senior employees for the third consecutive quarter. The company allegedly stated that it has rolled out 100 percent of variable salary for 70 percent of its workers. For the remaining 30 percent of the employees, the variable will clearly depend on the performance of their teams. In March 2025, the company also postponed the evaluation, citing an uncertain economic environment.
In April 2025, Infosys allegedly fired 240 freshers after failing to pass their final internal assessment. This was the second round of pruning in recent months. In February, more than 300 trainees were allowed to go to the performance criteria.
The affected employees were part of the October 2024 training batch and were hired for roles as System Engineers (SE) and Digital Expert Engineers (DSE). Many of them waited for more than two years to join the company after receiving their proposal letters during the epidemic.
Separate, starting from 10 March, Infosys also made changes in its work with the office policy, making it mandatory for employees to work outside the office for 10 days a month. The company also said that if the employees want to work from home for more than the designated days, which is 20, then there is now a 2-level approval process. If not approved, the day will be considered a holiday, and it will be automatically adjusted to the worker’s leave balance.
