Infosys ADR trading halted after 40% surge on NYSE

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) halted trading in Infosys’ American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) on Friday as they surged 40% to $26.62 on Friday, CNBC-TV18 reported.

Meanwhile, Wipro ADRs jumped more than 7% to $3.07 on the NYSE.

While it was the third straight day of gains for Infosys’ ADRs, the rally has been significant since Accenture beat Wall Street expectations for first-quarter earnings on Thursday.

Infosys ADRs rose more than 5% on Thursday and 2.5% on Wednesday, according to Investing.com data.
