In a video, the woman shared a recipe of her creation, which was made specially for her husband’s birthday on their son’s request. With a little creativity and some clever use of straws and toothpicks, she transformed plain watermelon into a work of art. The best part? This “fruit cake” is not only visually appealing, but also extremely easy to make.

She started by slicing watermelons of different sizes and dividing them into three tiers. Using straws, she stacked each tier of watermelon on top of the other, creating a sturdy and flat base. Using toothpicks, the woman added colorful fruits like strawberries, berries and oranges to the watermelon tiers. Then she added some fresh basil leaves for green. She stuck the age number on top of the cake to complete the look. And just like that, the fruit cake was ready to be served.
